We are half way through January already… wowza! Is it to soon to ask how the New Years resolutions are going? hehe

If you’re anything like me you don’t really like setting a lot of goals for the New Year. Every year I set ONE goal. Yup! One goal. Don’t get me wrong I have a lot of goals. I have a vision board in my room that I get to see everyday of our (my husband and I’d) big life goals. I have things that I do daily but they aren’t considered my ”goals” anymore because I just do them.

The goal I pick every year is something that I have complete control over! This year it is…. (drum roll)….. *think of all the things that can go right*

A little interesting right… but I think this is the biggest barrier in my life to reaching my greatest goals! I think of what I want to do or have planned; then start thinking about all the ways it could go wrong or that I might fail. It‘s only been a couple of weeks of January and man… this is a good goal for me! It’s helped me be more aware of my thought patterns and how much energy it takes me to change those thought patterns.

My goal is 100% something I can control and that’s what I love about my goal! My cute husband asks me how my goal is going when I get in a worry fit. (I like him asking me how my goal is going way better then him telling me to get up and stop worrying). Good luck with your goal/goals this year! You only fail when you stop trying :)
